With a $50 million Series C funding round, Secure Code Warrior ushers in the next era of developer-driven security.

Paladin Capital Group led Secure Code Warrior's Series C funding round. This is the company's largest investment at $50M USD, bringing its total funding to over $100M USD.

Secure Code Warrior will use the new funding to accelerate its platform and go-to-market efforts to increase market share and empower developer and engineering teams to identify vulnerabilities and fix code faster using AI technology.

In the Series C round, existing investors Goldman Sachs and ForgePoint Capital joined cyber and advanced technologies investor Paladin Capital Group to support Secure Code Warrior's mission to empower developers and engineers to defend their organisations' secure code.

“Secure Code Warrior has proven they are at the forefront of enabling developers to remain agile while learning secure coding,” said Mourad Yesayan, Managing Director, Paladin Capital Group and SCW Board member. “In this dynamic, AI-influenced global economy where secure-aware developers and engineering teams are massive assets, the value they deliver to 600 enterprises and counting has never been more important. It's a privilege to be on this journey with Pieter, Matias, and the Secure Code Warrior team, and we're excited about the company's new innovations to make secure coding more accessible to the market.”

Enterprises face commercial and reputational risks from vulnerable code. Hands-on cybersecurity education helps build secure software while traditional tools secure applications.

Goldman Sachs Managing Director David Campbell. “Secure Code Warrior’s sole mission has been to help developers build more secure code in enterprises across financial services, technology, manufacturing, and so many other industry sectors.”

The company appointed Patrick Collins as its chief product and technology officer and Nanhi Singh to its board of directors during the Series C funding round.

“Enterprises know that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to developer-driven security and seek the ability to offer solutions that are effective across their teams,” said Co-founder and CEO Pieter Danhieux. Our platform supports agile learning through multiple learning paths and experiences, including Coding Labs' real-time feedback, to create the most comfortable learning environments. Investor and employee trust made this possible. I'm delighted to welcome Nanhi and Patrick, who will undoubtedly contribute greatly in the coming months."

For over two decades, Nanhi Singh has transformed customer experience and value for many brands, including Imperva, Symantec, Blue Coat Systems, and Nokia. Patrick Collins, former CEO and founder of SaaS firm 5th Finger, will lead platform innovation and product strategy at Secure Code Warrior.
